To change 2500 clone to 2700 This will work for clones. 2500 to 2700 jvvh 208 via SERIAL PORT Thats right via serial port, instructions included! Just follow the instructions using your 2500 data cable and this will convert without using a jtag.I've loaded 3 so far and autoroll within minutes after setting everything up and doing sat scans. THEN I hope the following will help as the 3000 may very a bit to the norm. THANKS FOR THE HELP I'm up and running , since I have a Pansat 3000 clone and a Fortec 2500 clone I will post the variables that I encountered DUE TO the oddball clones I have, and my own inexperience. I first cleared memory by going to the manufacturer's default (use remotes menu). I used the BL 1.4 updater I loaded in BIN jvvh 208 2500 to 2700 it didn't work. I then tried to load CS 235T, IT WOULDN'T LOAD. Then I spent a lot of time reading the many post, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong then finally it loaded YYYY???? NOTE when bin 235t is loaded, on this clone you will see 0b75 on the display, the alpha numerical numbers are critical in the next step. The Jvvh FortecRemote-235.bin bin is to be loaded next. THE ONLY TIME THIS WILL WORK is after you turn the power on to the Pantec 3000, the display will show 0 then b then 7 then 5 after the letter b appears you must push WRITE BIN on the STB if your timing is off the bin won't load (retry) Problem, I load both the Fortec and the Pansat and the hex alpha characters ( A/B/C/D/E/F) are in the wrong location (KEYS). This is the new configuration on my remote , D * E B * * A F C. Below are the locations for all the required BINS and all the reading you would require.
