I did and it said "Up da" and then it said "ne nu" . Then I download the 1.30 boot and installed and it said "good". I just have a red light with no numbers or anything. It's like the box won't power up.
it already came with factory bin u were suppoosed to download 1.42//.. i believe that's the first time u were downloading any bin for nfusion? when mine came .. i just downloaded bin 1.42.
Yeah that's what I did. After the 1.42 install is when it happend. Then I did a factory install . The box will accept installations still. I can see the #'s counting up. It's just after any new install the box won't power up.
so u can donwload the factory bin right? does it tell u its good at the end? after that may be try different site.. sometime files are corrupt.. if u can downlaod the factory bin . may be to try 1.42 on [link removed]
ok i found this info may be if it helps if you don't have WINRAR it almost looks like a Bin file but even if its loaded and counts down you wont get the (Good) message on front display more like NUmU> When you get a copy of WINRAR loaded to your computer the 142 RAR file will be in a yellow box needed to be unzipped and there you'll find the 142 BIN file. I think this is the problem your having, was a bit of a b*itch for me at first being an old Koolsat user but it really is user friendly after you get the hang of the Nova. Almost always the bin files are posted in WINZIP and you can easily see it's azipped file, this RAR file threw me as wel
I have winrar . Thanks anyways but Im going to send it back for a new one. I did notice the box having a huge dent in the side. Looks like someone smashed it.
Sorry to hear your box was damaged. When installing, check that the boot and bin files are the latest, the numbers you mentioned are correct.
Also, if replacing another FTA with neosat, check for Disqc or SW21 multiswitch settings.
Also check that the LNB configuration is correct, that is done in Settings in the Installation menu.
Also turn Emu or Emulation OFF at all times
In Internet, select Dinamic, not Static, DH.. something
I read two things, one that someone installed an nfusion and connected it to a nobreak, didnt get signal, then connected it to the outlet on the wall, and signal came as magic.
Also I installed a network cable from the nFusion to the Internet router thats called CrossOver network cable, similar to the network cable, but works better in the nFusion, it costs $10 bucks at any RadioShack.
Thanks man but im ok with it considering the company that I bought it from will replace it. I just had to pay the shipping back to him and he is going to pay shipping my way. I just hate having to wait that long . Im looking at about 10 to 14 business days.
Scabz, Well, the wait is worth. Today, while many boxes went down, nFusion didnt even blink
Glen, do you mean you installed the netgear wireless on the nfusion or do you mean you have a router that sends wireless signals to your computers?
Unless you have a device that connects to the nFusion and from there connects to your wireless router such as any Linksys or similar, you need to connect a cable from the nFusion to the router.
