The channels in 121 are being moved (or already moved) to 118.7 (Anik F3).

You would need a 30" dish with a special LNB (CB2008) to receive those channels.

I'm not a techie; but I think the broadcast is in circular polarization in linear frequency, and that is why the new lnb is a requirment.

hmm.. I'm illiterate on that one. But I do know some of those dishes support them by default.

What I can do though is, compare the spec between cb2008 and superd*sh and report back.

121s are moving to 118.7 Anik.
61.5 and 148 may also be reduced "in the near future"... "to make room for HD", but I have no confirmation on this.
119 and 118.7 can be had together on one universal LNB with a 30-33" dish.
The same Dish can also support 110 on a bracket.

adamof99: The following information might be of some help. Please post back your experience in setting up for the benefit of everybody.

i½If your LNB has separate outputs for 119 and 118.7, then in the Antenna menu
For 119, use LNB frequency 11250
For 118.7, use LNB frequency 10750
and use two ports of a switch.i½

i½DUAL DSS LNB CB2008 for 118.7 119 Anik F3 FTA CIRCULAR i½i½ It works with all FTA receivers; just set LNB type as Universal LNBi½

i½ROC Model: CSS118
It's a Brand New Ku Band Circular Single Output LNB.
It's designed especially for catching 119 & 118.7 (Anik F3) at the same time using one such LNB. Each Output gives signal from both satellites.
Make sure you set LNB frequency as 10750, instead of regular 11250 in the receiver menu.i½

Even if you pick up an unknown satellite in antenna setup, you will be scanning the sat you are pointing to and connected in the DisEqC switch.
Just make sure that the LNB freq, switch settings and LNB type (universal) are correctly set. Then do a Power scan (Blind scan).

It would not matter, if you are doing a "Power scan". Otherwise you will have to add sat and go to the lyngsat site and get the TPs

Nalin, please look at the photo on post# 35 above. The sat was installed by DN. The dual NLB is for 110 and 119, and the single NLB is for 105. I live in east coast. How can I get 118.7 Anik F-3 which is not listed in the antenna setting of my PS 2700 converted box? Thanks

DN lnbs will not pick up both unless you buy the official conversion. I do not know the LNBs you are showing in the picture.......They migh give you a weaker signal by 3 DB
