I own a Pansat 2500A, that is what i have always used, which is obviously connected to my dish.

Now, my neighbor asked me to upload the new bin for him, he owns a Cool$at 6000.

My question is... is if i upload the bin from my computer and then connect it to the satellite cable to make sure it works, will that in any possible way screw up my satellite dish? will i be able to see eveything perfectly once i plug my Pansat back??

Thanks!

That will in no way affect your receiver.

Just be sure to unplug the receivers from power before disconnecting the LNB.

Kevin,
let me get this right.are you trying to load bin 159 to c00lsat 6000?
if so you would just do it on your computer and not touch your receiver.
also remember to use the c00lsat downloader, don't mix the 2

if you just disconnect your pansat and not change any of the settings and hook up the c00lsat then nothing should happen to your pansat settings even if you change settings in the c00lsat.

Fta tester is saying to turn your receivers completely off before you disconnect any of the cables from the back of the recevier. (both receviers)
