when i try to delete a chanel on my ultra everything freeze and i have to re-boot and after a blind scan nothing is saved anybody had this problem pls??

ok we have had that problem before with the platinums as well.

seems like a channel will cause it to reboot and sometimes lose all data...or when you are trying to delete a channel.

we had to rescan the sat, make a note of the "bad" channel somehow...then use OSD EDIT avalable here [link removed] to delete the channel useing a computer instead of the receiver.

you upload the channel list to the computer useing the serial cord and loader program

thnx i will try that but the OSD EDIT is for xtreme can i use it on ultra ??

delete channels with autoroll and auto tp update off

yes you can still use it as far as i know

i agree after you do your blind scan turn off auto update tp it can make the receiver delete channels

i managed to delete all the channels one shot but still i can't use blind scan i have to do an auto scan (in blind scan i find 400 channel but could not save) auto scan only save 78 channel

did you get a updated satfile? without it you will not get all the channels thats why blind scan is best


i would start over factory reset

adjust antenna settings

blind scan


what is your set up?
lnbs, switchs, everthing

yep i just got updated satfile my settings are
61.5: LNB Power - on , LNB Type - Standard , LNB Freq. - 11250 , 22 KHz - off , tp freq. - 12297
DisEqc - Port 4 Motor - off , Legacy SW - none
119: LNB Power - on LNB Type - Standard LNB Freq. - 11250 , 22 KHz - off , tp freq. - 12224 , DisEqc - Port 2 , Motor - off
Legacy SW - none
110: LNB Power - on , LNB Type - Standard
LNB Freq. - 11250 , 22 KHz - off
tp freq. - 12224,DisEqc - Port 3 , Motor - off
Legacy SW - none

Can someone please help me. I just updated my bin file on my Viewsat Ultra, I then did a channel scan and I get nothing but auto roll processing. Am I doing it wrong? Step by step insrtuctions would be great!

we are experiencing that with all receivers on some channels on DN.

that is your settings please list what you have connected to the receiver?
