On a DishPro LNB (1 lnb gets both 119 & 110) Do you or do you not need the DeSQ port set for each sat? (NO Switch in line) And which LNB type should you use (Standard, OCS-DP, or which other?)

I'm trying to troubleshoot a friends STB ultra and can't seem to get all channels. Get most, but not all.

What LNB, TP, Freqs should one use? Does it matter? I would think the LNB Freq would be important, but the TP freq I think it scans a range.

Any help apprecieiated.

Any Examples for settings on DishPro that work?
i.e. LNB type, LNB Freq, DESQ settings, TP Freq, etc..

Thanks

Thanks

for a dish pro

ocs-DP----DP means dish pro

you set the disqc switch for 119 at 1 and for 110 on 2

now that is how it is supost to work on mine here it for some unknown reason likes 119 on 3 and 110 on 4 so play with the switch settings until you find a happy marriage of switch settings and the dish pro.

LNB frequency for circular like dn or bev uses is 11250

the transponders are were the channels are transmitted so important. You should get a new satfile and upload into the receiver so the list of sat's and transponders will be correct. You can and will miss channels if transponders are missing....unless the receiver can blind scan then the receiver will find all transponders for you..

any questions just ask
