Do antenna setup for 91 using same diseqc port as 110

www.dishpointer.com

place X at your dish location , select 91W, aim as shown and adjust elavation till you get signal

12224 is a active transponder. All other settings the same as you had for 110. You will not get 100% quality on Nimiq probl about 1/2.
91 is east of 110
Good luck

a 31" dish with the qph-031 lnb is the best antenna.

If you are moving the dish antenna you used for 110 just change in antenna settings to 91, set all settings the same as you had for 110. Pick that transponder 12224 and point it!

What is your receiver, and lnb's?

all you have to do is use the same dieqc port # you used for 110 .

move the 110 dish to the 91 position

scan sat , enter keys , watch TV

After selecting nimiq1, and doing ablind scan it says 0 transponder found.

What does it mean? Is the Antenna not properly set up to 91 or Frequency is not set right or any other problem. shall appreciate if someone could help me out.

or give a reference of earlier thread where details about setting up BEV can be found.

Thanks

It is best to get a small tv outside with you so can see the meters on the antenna menu as you adjust the antenna. Another way is have someone watch the tv and tell you when you get signal.
Takes time you can get it!

How the signal should be checked? I mean quality and level which of these. and which menu to go check these in Installation - is it Advanced scan or Antenna or TP or any other and then try to move .

Quality already it is showing 68% and level 0

Shall appreciate if the process can be explained in detail a bit and step by step as I am a new to this.

thanks

Stay on the antenna set up menu. Have all fields set just like you did for 110. select that transponder..go outside and adjust antenna...

watch the QUALITY meter...the level or signal meter will pretty much always read 60% or so even when not pointed at a sat.

Just watch the QUALITY meter....If you have a viewsat receiver it will ID the sat when you find it.

Move it slowly watching the quality meter only

I need to go so good luck I will be back this afternoon

When you get a sat (the quality meter goes up) stop tighten the antenna and do a sat scan.....if you get the channels that are on bev 91 then you found it.....if after the scan you get channels that are not on bev 91 or mabee even no channels then you need to move the antenna a little more......it takes time you can get it

level means next to nothing when pointing . Just watch the quality meter

the level will go up and down as you move it...

Others might post that t does but when pointing just ignore it its quality you need.

You want to adjust your dish till you get the highest quality you can get.

Do whatever scan gives you the best results-
