Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 6479 Registered: Jun-06 | lys: Download the full kit from the following URL http://public.box.net/2500_full_kit In the Revert to 2500 subdirectory you will find all instructions for reversion. What you are missing is BIN 60. So follow those instructions to get your Bin 60 and 294T loaded. Then go ahead with full conversion to B75 BIN and jvvh_232 or CS_232T_lightning BIN of your choice. REad the instructions fully and follow them. Best to print the instructions out under Word. Best of luck. |

Silver Member Username: ViruscauserLeesburg, Georgia Post Number: 646 Registered: Mar-07 | You have not read and studied the instructions have you? Until you do, this is going to be a tough uphill climb for you and you may never even reach the top. Anywhooooo......... You bought the wrong cable. You will need a Straight Through, SERIAL cable, NOT a null cable. |
Bronze Member Username: Tibie11Post Number: 16 Registered: Sep-07 | the guys in the store tell me is the good one... i ask for serial |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 6490 Registered: Jun-06 | lys: Try and read and understand. All receivers need a cable for loading - some use null cable and some use straight RS232 cable. They are all "good cables", but you can't use one type if the other type is required. YOU NEED A STRAIGHT RS232 9 PIN F/F CABLE |
Silver Member Username: ViruscauserLeesburg, Georgia Post Number: 651 Registered: Mar-07 | There's no GOOD one and a BAD one. There's only what will work for your receiver and what will not. What you need is a serial cable and you said you bought a null cable. If that's the case, it's the wrong cable. If you meant that you bought a serial cable, then it's the right cable. You say you asked for a serial cable. You also say you bought a null cable. So which one is it? A null cable will not work. Even a GOOD null cable will not work. |

Bronze Member Username: Sting77Post Number: 33 Registered: Jun-06 | hi abby can you explain how to load channel master to my 2500 flu converted to 2700 plz and thanks |
Silver Member Username: ViruscauserLeesburg, Georgia Post Number: 655 Registered: Mar-07 | You don't load the Channel Master onto your receiver. Channel Master is a program you install on your computer and use it to read your channel list from your receiver to store it on your computer. Next time you load a new bin, and it wipes out your channel list, you use Channel Master to write your saved channels back onto your receiver so you don't have to rescan. |
