The extreme file was posted by pannu16, who is the same person as pannu at this site. He did try and and tested it. He got it from ftaview site.
Whether they removed it because it was bad or because it was posted by a junior poster, I have no idea. In any case, they would not allow a file that is from a second source. They later posted a file that is from somebody senior at totalfta
At ftatalk they have a system of "Thank you" counts. Naturally people want to post files to get a lot of "Thank you" added to their record.
I am running my viewsat on same fu*kin file which i posted and my three buddies are using the same file , i dont know why it was taken off from ftatalk.com. It was confirmed working!! And still is and its same file they posted now with different name!! They just wanted to take credit away from me!! So if u made some bookaka while loadin it in ur box, tough luck!! I have never spammed or posted wrong things!! Also another thing is there were 18 downloads which were successful in gettin vs up and running!!
Pannu: I had noted who the file posters were and their "Thank you" system and decided not to post any files there. I am sure you were kicked out because somebody senior wanted the credit of posting and the "Thank you" that goes with it. Imagine the number of "Thank you" on a Viewsat file after so many TV-less days.
i k now thats wat i was talkin bout!! It cud have changed the status overall!! I was up at 7am workin on the forums and keepin right in touch!! But tough luk its politics which comes everywhere!!
