Hi, I used a Bin that was posted on foogle.ca and updated the bin, the 'do not power off' message was displayed for more than 15 minutes. Finally I powered it off now the receiver is not restarting.
Nalin, its not even restarting, it powers up and nothing on the screen totally empty... is there anyway i can play with the hardware to restart the system
cool4us.. tell me a single person who went to site u mentioned above to download stuff. i am sorry if i was rude..but how many times we mentioned the reputable website's here..and your's -its no where.....no one know's about it... check [link removed](they have chat box)..u can even chat with admin's... they have good website.. and its safe to download.... and i know u said its same kind of file there... but it's not safe... that's what happend to urs.. u were lucky ... sometime on those site files are so bad..that they will kill ur reciever and u have to gtaj. it.. sorry again ..

Hello everyone, we now have new working software bin files for the viewsat receivers. make sure you go to the receiver you own for the newest bin files
These New Software Bin Files Are For BEV Bell ExpressVu if you are NOT pointed at that satellite you do not need to use this software, dish users.
did u get ur reciever to work... i'm having the same problem... w/ only the dash "----" lines appear on the receiver and nothing on the screen... i have a factory bin, i think that's wat it's called, but i can't figure out how to load it into the receiver since it's not responding....
