Bronze Member Username: Ttdelta1Canada Post Number: 11 Registered: Dec-07 | Hello everybody, First of all, I want to thank you for all comments, sarcastic or not, they are sometimes helpful for rookies (like me). One question: VS Ultra, 38" dish, 1 linear LNB pointed to 97W (Intelsat 5) one circular LNB pointing 91W (B3V); diseq 1.2 Port 1 B3v, Port 2 Intls 5. Did a factory reset, then scanned Intelsat 5 (Antenna setup : LNB Universal, DiSeq port 2) - got 160 channels. Go back and setup antena for B3V (LNB: universal, DiSeq port 1) then scanned Nimiq 1,3 (B3V sat 97W) got nothing, also Quality stuck 0. Did again factory reset, again antena setup, starting this time with B3V - got all Bell channels (scrambled of course), then when tried with Intelsat 5, got only 60 channels, not one viewable (quality less than 5%), What's going on. Thank you! |

Post Number: 1893 Registered: Sep-06 | Bev is working for subs yes.....you antenna settings are wrong for the other sat or you lost transponders both very common problems we have seen alot this last few weeks.... once you get it all working make anice backup of all settings and files on your computer it will save you lots of time later. |
New member Username: Hawk916Post Number: 7 Registered: Sep-07 | Yes it keeps searching threw all the transponders then channel comes on for 30 seconds then starts searching transponders again. |

Bronze Member Username: Ttdelta1Canada Post Number: 13 Registered: Dec-07 | BTW,(maybe a stupid question) it's ok to install the DiSeq outside? It's -15 Celsius around here. Could be affected? Thx. |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 5877 Registered: Jun-06 | Yes - I have two outside. Better if you can get them round the gutter and anchor to the soffit, but mine have been taking the full Canadian winters without problems. |

They are low powered sats in the 5150 ghz range. An lnbf specific C-band will be lucky to recieve such on a 33"dish! Use t6/ku @ 91 degrees instead of 93 and power scan!! |
