My recently converted FLU just died on me. When I turn it on from the back there is absolutely no light in the front display. I don't know if I need to replace a burnt fuse or jtag it.

Please help me

You have to JTAG your FLU in order to bring it back to life. Please go to www.dssworld.co.nr and download JTAG kit from the FTA RECEIVER GUIDES forum.

You owe it to yourself to open and see if there is burnt fuse. If not the fuse then do a jtag. If you want to, you CAN jtag directly to the the 225 conversionn using the CS_225T full jtag bin

I did open it but didn't know what to look for. Any suggestion of how to check for burnt fuse. I don't have a electrician background.

It's hard to tell if there's a burnt fuse or not. But, you can do the JTAG and if your unit turns ON, then everything is cool, otherwise, there's a burnt fuse.

Trace the mains wires as they come in and go through the switch. The fuse can't be far.

Any thought to WHY this happened? Could it be the 224 bin even though my receiver was working fine on initial load( it went dead the next day)? The receiver is probably 2+ years old.

I used X-87BL_071122_B75_224_api bin. Is that a FLU bin? How can I tell which is for FLU and which is not?

BTW, I really appreciate the help
