Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 5595 Registered: Jun-06 | Who Datbe : Just instal the CS_225T_Lightning directly on top of your current. Get everything ready, turn on receiver, and click on "Write BIN" immediately after "b" shows up. Then follow instructions on the latter part of my detailed instructions at: https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-video/410631.html |

Does the jvvh_208_1 have boot b 75 included or does only the jvvh_208_2500to2700 have it? I haven't converted my 2500 yet as the 224bin went down just as I was about to. Your help is appreciated |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 5602 Registered: Jun-06 | I converted about 7 Pansat clones without using b75 boot as a separate installation. Unfortunately I can't remember when I switched to jvvh_208_1 instead of jv_205_1 There are so many different clones, the behaviour might be different for different clones. Since you going to use the BIN load technique, even if the load of 208_1 does not work, you can try 205_1. There is something in the 205_1 which makes a little bulkier after installation, hence the suggestion of starting with 208_1 |

But you really have to watch when you start uploading( as soon as b appears on your receiver start it or it won't work. If it doesn't work the first time, try it few times. It took me like 10 tries to do all that yesterday. but I found good help here.. |
Bronze Member Username: BewolfPost Number: 13 Registered: Nov-07 | This is what I was told at another site: Initially jvvh released the jvvh_205_1 which was the modified boot b-75 file with the jvvh_208_1 which was the modified working bin at the time. Then jvvh released the jvvh_208_2500to2700 to replace the jvvh_205_1, the modified boot b-75 file that he recommends everybody uses instead of the old jvvh_205_1 bin. So.... one's a bin to change the BOOT system while the other is a BIN file to make the damn thing decode the signal. |

Bronze Member Username: JaggaPost Number: 35 Registered: Oct-06 | Hello friends, I used the following method to convert my Pansat 2500 clone to 2700. I understand that this way I can continue to use my existing receiver without having to purchase a new one. 1. Open/Run the Blacklist updater 2. Make sure BIN is Selected not BOOT you are writing a Bin 3. Click select BIN 4. Choose j27_205_1.bin 5. Reboot reciever, on first light/dash, Click write bin. let it write When it is done, Be PATIENT!!!! let it reboot after 2-3 minutes you will see B-75 Flash on display of reciever. <- THIS IS WHERE I GET STUCK!!! I AM UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD THE FILE. THERE IS 0% DOWNLOADING PROGRESS FOR THE LAST 30 MINUTES. AM I DOWNLOADING THE CORRECT FILE? 6. Click select BIN 7. Choose jvvh_208_1.bin 8. Reboot reciever on first light Click write bin. let it write. let it reboot after 1 minute you will see B-75 Flash on display of reciever. <- SAME PROBLEM AS DESCRIBED ABOVE 9. reconnect to Tv, select default key from parental options(key menu) let it roll 10. wait for next round |
