I have been offered a free Projection screen TV. It works but the screen has a distortion problem. I wanted to know if anyone would be able to figure out how much it would cost to fix it and if it is fixable at all. I don't want to get it and end up having to put it in the dumpster or resale it because it costs too much to repair.
The convergence board needs to be re-built. $300 to $500 depending on the shop. (my price $250). The CRTs look to be in good shape. If repaired, you would have yourself a good looking set.
