future-fta.info has a 'how to scan hd channels".

The lnb's you have will work for the hd channels also --no need to replace.

advanced & tp scan

when you have echo 8, tp 12457 and sybol rate 21500 selected the tuner type should read:

DVB-S2 / 8PSK / ON

yes, i did exactly before, the problem is when i choose 12399 or 12457 tps i have no signal evn quality, that's why i can't scan, i went to the antenna LNB to try better specific position, but get no signal and no quality for these tps, getting crazy here.

i lose signal and quality when the FEC for those tp's is not set at 2/3(advance & tp scan).

i would start over.
board installed,
cable in place-IF output to the illumanati board,
factory setting --all data
antenna setup,
scan.

thats all i got ...good luck

One more question for you, so if you have 110 and 119 you see DNW programing on PPV movies, with 9200 won't be able to watch those HD channels ?? there are about 7. Do you know anything about?

does DNW = dish network?

all viewable--ppv movies, espn, tnt,hd theater....

yes DNW stands for it, so I tried yesterday to change antenna etc... no signal, do you think it maybe the board?? i don't think there is any other cause, specially like you said the LNBs will work for it , but the guy who sold me said it was tested.

Advance and tp scan
select echo 8
down freq. 12297
tuner type should read--DVB-S/QPSK/OFF

Now select down freq. 12311
tuner type should change to -- DVB-S2/8PSK/ON

i think that indicates the board is recognized.

yes, the board is recognized, i have seen it , so still a mystery, why i can't see these channels you have, I'm waiting till future-fta site come back, but you gave me pretty much all to do, really upset here.

when tp 12311 is highlighted in advanve & tp scan, do you have signal and quality.

if not, maybe replace the cable from the IF OUTPUT to the board.

can only suggest to start over,

Installing this kit is a simple procedure that does not take more than 5 minutes:

* Remove the top cover of your Pansat 9200HD receiver with a Phillips screwdriver.
* Remove the "Tuner 2 IF Out" cap from the back panel of the receiver.
* Make sure you are not carrying any static electricity by touching the chassis of your receiver for 2 seconds.
* Remove the tuner board from its anti-static bag.
* Install the adapter board to the tuner board and connect all supplied cables to that board.
* Tighten the tuner kit to the back panel of the receiver through the "Tuner 2 IF Out" opening.
* Connect the power cable to the power supply (CN3 connector).
* Connect the data cables to the main circuit board of the 9200HD (CH6 and CH7 connectors).
* Make sure the tuner kit is in place and not "slanted".
* Connect the RF cable to the tuner board and to the "Tuner 1 IF Out" port on the back of the receiver.
* Install the cover on the receiver and tighten all screws.
* Turn on receiver. The DVB-S2 / 8PSK option in the Advanced Satellite Scan menu will allow you to scan DVB-S2 / 8PSK transponders containing free-to-air programming.

i also did the factory setting --all data--
after installing board

good luck
