I saw it on FTA.NET... I'm not sure if it works.. Software is dated 11/22/07

Who will give it a try??

BTW, what is opkey file? I have already downloaded it to my viewsat platinum. Would it damage the exisitng the bin? any clues?

Just to let you guys know, I did not have 0601 line before in my viewsat. However after installing this opkey, that line has been added. Any thoughts gurus? LK, Nalin anybody??

lol try adding the 0106 key haris.. and tell us if it works... if it does then you have the right file... if not then just keep waiting...

i tried the file . it only gives u the option to add 0106 provider . but even putting manually the keys still not working.
it's not just the keys it's more than that . so wait for a new bin guys.

i think is a sign that we are going to be f*ucked up.

if they can not come up with a bin that has an option entering manually the provider 0106 then we are looking at the end.

They will come up with a fix that is for sure
Delay maybe just cuz of the holidays

Problem is who is going to give up first?
Is this a cat and mouse endless drag?
Is there a massive upgrade of a higher security on the way?

I did find strong indications of hardware upgrades
But I totally got the time table wrong
Not by this ECM
This ECM is just like all the others

But something else bigger on the horizon
I don't know what it is
And I'm not worried I don't want the fun to end
This has been a lot of fun for me with all I learned about FTA

If any fix comes out for Viewsats, Total will have it first. Right now there is nothing at Total.

We are not shut out anyway......I have viewsat here and I can report all Movie channels and PPV including Pourn Working 100%.........on BEV

Most of DN working just the international channels, movie channels, and PPV but all others working fine....so all is not lost I have been able to find something to watch this whole time.......I am ardering a new LNB in the morn so I can get "true FTA" as well......with my motor

These days Viewsat has been one of the last few to come out with new bins. Hope they are not going the Fortec way.

VS is falling back behind Panasat and even others, this is the third time that he is not first to come up with a Fix,

Roomer has it that VS Coders have lost their Coding equipment and are shopping for new or used ones at ebay, also the roomer says that they are begging ARIZA Coders (....!!) to lend them their equipment just for now so that they don't look like the Last one to come up with the Fix...................

FYI - C/P

PFTAHDSW-071124H DN PPV Fix

Fixes issues with DN PPV, XXX and Internationals. There is still some freezing occurring on these channels. This is the delay for the release. They are still working on it to make it 100% freeze free. Look for other models fixes to come soon as well.
