I have a 1995 Magnavox TV/VCR combo. I am trying to remove the VCR from the unit. The TV turns on for 5 seconds and then turns off (without the VCR.). Does a jumper have to be added to let the TV know that everything is ok? Model # CCT 192AT01

You cannot use the TV without the VCR. The TV tuner is built into the VCR.

Thanks for the replay, I do have the VCR out when I tried it and I do have a picture before it shuts off.
