From a previous thread going back to 12/03/06, Steve Starr had a similar problem on his HD projection TV and was told to replace the video board #TNP2AH035S at around $500. Your thread said "There are a pair of STK series output ICs that fail. One is for the blue and the other for the red. You will need solder wick to de-solder them. When your done you will need a alignment DVD and know how to do the service adjustments. If you've never done any electrical soldering before, it might be a good idea to have pro do it." Is it better to replace the board ($163.50 Union) or just the IC's. What service adjustments are required? Will I need an O-Scope? Where would I obtain an alignment DVD?
