Yes but which one is Better, as in USB slot to flash updated Bins. Do you need upgraded hardware from changing from Cools*t to them?

No change in other hardware is necesary when U change receiver types...U can use the same dish, cables, switches...and Both receivers are fairly equal...the sonicview 8000 has been around longer and more is known about it than the viewsat 9000..Both will get U Bev HD, but for DN HD , then receiver adapers and boards and more costs are required for both...totalfta.com has more detailed info..
