Finally bought a samsung dvr-160 upconverting dvd recorder..hooked up to my pansonic dlp (model PT50DL54) via hdmi output.but i dont get any video...just blank screen.
settings on dvr is set to 780p ..component out works fine..
tv manual says TV is both hdmi/hdcp compliant. it sayst that i should use hdmi type A connection..what is that? is it different to the current hdmi cables? since the tv is 3 yrs old, i suspect the cable might be the wrong one??
