I have a viewsat rxtreme hooked up to three dishes one to 110 and 119 and bell,I just picked up a viewsat 9000 and was wondering what kind of switch do i need to hook up the new receiver to the same cables or do I have to run new ones

It all depends on your LNB types...

yes but I would like to use them both, the extreme on the other tv upstairs

if all your lnb are dishpro then use dp34 and u can run 4 wires to 4 diffedrent boxs.
if not then the lnb has to be dual and u have to pull cable from each to different switch and do ur configuration and enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it.

You can also change your LNB to DishPro Quad and then you DONT need any switches....

he is having 3 dishs what the hell you talking about quad will not solve his problem.
eith dual and run cables for each receiver or dp34 if he has dishpro lnb/s
