i know this is in the wrong thread but the fact is that nobody answers questions in the Projector thread. My question was that i am wondering what cables i am going to need to connect my cable or satellite to my projector. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thank you
PS if all you're gonna do is trash the questions (LK) then theres no need to respond...
Projector is like a TV Satellite receiver is like a DVD player
Simple Connection: RCA out of Receceiver (yellow, Red, White) To Projector input (yellow, Red, White) Yellow for video, White and Red for Audio
RGB Connection: 5-RCA out of Receceiver (Red, Green Blue, Plus White&Red) To Projector input (Red, Green Blue, Plus White&Red) (RGB) for video, White and Red for Audio
thanks Tapeman but i meant to say i need to connect my cable TV to the projector...the standard TV cable is what i am using to get the picture from the cable company and i dont have a cable box so it would have to be some other way...any other idea?
Run down to the local thrift store grab a $10.00 VCR and use that for you base NTSC channel tuner then use the composite video out which will be the RCA jacks or if you look and luck out maybe you will find a VCR with S-video to run the projector.
