DIRECTV offers 'TV Chile' in each of it's Spanish Language channel packages. Many other Spanish language channels are included as well.

Take a look at:

direct-tv-tv-chile-television-de-chile

on Expert Satellite . com

Spot Beam Mercosul
They are Free to Air if you live in South America. I have once tried with a 39" Dish
I couldn't even Scan in one TP.
I have no trouble with Hispasat 1C & 1D @ 30.oW
I scan in (42) Channels.

Did yo try it recently?

I spent an entire week try to get Digital plus on hispasat 30C with no luck.

Did yo try 63°W with plain Linear LNB
Cuz invacom and 61.5 can be tricky

Hey, King
NO,I have not tried with a plain Linear LNB.
Iam still using the Invacom QPH-031
I have no problem with the rest of the Linear Birds except Anik F3, they do sell a dual LNB to get bolh 118 & 119 but, I don't want to change my Invacom. I have no problem with EchoStar 3 & Rainbow 1 @ 61.5W. As of now I have (42) channels on 30 1C & 1D. I don't know what to tell you that you don't already know. Try a larger Dish. I am using a 39"

I wish I didn't give away my 30" and 36" dish I would of tried it now
63W is a new satellite and is right next to 61.5W
Can be a bit tricky
But I will try it at a friend's house

I also want to try Amazons 61.0°W?
Many channels in Nag*ra2

I'm sure yo know how to scan well
But these are the kind of stuff I like to try myself

Hey, King
My middle name is Scan
Look here, forget Amazons, there is nothing there.
Spot Beam Brazil & South America.
Encrypted, Feeds, Radio Stations.

On Galaxy 28 @ 89.oW, I do pickup two (2) Channels on TP 613.
There is only two good Birds to scan in East of 61.5W, Hispasat 1C @ 30.0W and Intelsat 3R @ 43.oW.
If you have a better luck, let me hear.

BTW you do need a Motorized Dish to play in Clark's Belt

how do you guys know witch sat your are pointing at??,
From www-lyngsat-com
It takes a while to learn its foot prints

what kind of dishes do you have or you use a sat locator?
I use China dishes
I don't really have a dish but these guys do

Just joking but I do have cableTV
Majority of Direct TV, Dishnet, Bell Express in which they use DSS 18" to 24" inch dish Circular polarity LNB.

Many other digital broadcast providers use FSS in which they use 30" dish and larger with Linear polarity LNB

To point to a specific satellite there are specific websites that allows yo to calculate exact angle and elevation. Yo need to use a compass and Satellite finder about($10 to $15)

Yo want to learn more
Yo need to put your hands on and try
Yo ask questions yo learn more

Almost everyone here all they want is free TV
But there are few good guys that take Satellite as a good science hobby.

Hey, Popes
I have a question for you.
On the above Foot Print, what do these colors & #s mean? (39) Green (44) Blue (48) Red.
Also would you know why, Intelsat 901 @ 18.o
and Intelsat 9 @ 58.o .....40 Degrees apart
are on the same Foot Print?

I just wanted to inform everyone that I was wrong about TV Chile and Brazilian channels

On October 11th I was at the Javit Centerfor the SATCon exibit show, NYC and I spoke with the sales manager of LORAL SKYNET Telestar 14/Estrla do Sul 63W confirming to me that their broadcast is available on NAFTA satellite beam. Claiming that their coverage in North and South America and Northern Atlantic Ocean Region. The Satellite focused coverage in 5 regions. I couldn't get a scan over the weekend from either beam. It may have been a simple misunderstanding.

From what I concluded they only got 2 coverages other 3 beam service awaiting for program population. They just recently started the service in North America NAFTA for their 2004 satellite.

Sorry for the misunderstanding
I will make it up to South American viewers.
It is a promise.
King
