I had a Microyal receiver before and when there was no support for it I bought a Viewsat.
What I dont understand is that when Sonicview has a fix for GC why isn't there one for Viewsat Extreme. Almost every other receiver has a fix for GC.Is it a tactic by Viewsat to make people buy Viewsat Ultra or Sonicview? No matter what the real reason is, it is a big shame on Viewsat which considers itself number one in FTA.
I have heard that alot of coders have become unhappy with the current situation they are involved with. BL remains with Pansat but it is rumoured that some of the other camps have lost coders. VS being one of them
NOBODY has GC now, or for the past few days...its the same for all receivers...GC is just NOT that popular...only a minority of FTA owners watch it...it just appears that they are all here!...On the rare ocassions that GC is available, its always short lived, cause of key changes etc...coders will always concentrate on the majority needs and wants...if people wnat GC that badly, then they should consider other alternatives other than FREE FTA...
The reality is that the Gc is a windows to the world. Many ethical channels are inside. And Euronws, Setanta Sport and a lots of cultural channels who you can't see inside B3V and Dave. GC GlobSat T5 or T25 the new is a FREE FTA alternatives. 100% with you cool goose :

People is going to another country because in most of the cases, their own countries can not give them better chances to improve the way of living.....but in the countries where they are traveling to, there is also a need for people who can work there...it is a combination of mutual needs....this people will not immigrate to any country that can not provide them with a chance of improving their lifestyles...
I do not live in USA or Canada, and I have rejected several job offers on both countries just because the salary offer is not attractive, they want qualified and CHEAP workers.
For some people it is attractive, for some others it is not....immigration has been a natural human process, the people in USA and Canada have ancestors who where immigrants, because there were no chances in their countries and had to go out looking for better chances...
Just think about what the original tribes who lived in America tought when the british arrived and started taking land and fighting them...
When you guys talk about this, just stop for a moment and thing that your ancestors were in the same situation several or many years ago.....and think where you will be today if they would be rejected many years back in the past....
My Irish ancestors were rejected and NOT accepted...and given menial paying, tough jobs working the docks...but they DID work, and NOT DEMAND NOR EXPECT that their Gaelic language or Irish ways be accepted nor imposed on others...and sure as hell, would NOT have DEMANDED or EXPECTED Irish FREE TV be made available to them, if TV has been invented then...
BTW...my ancestors were FORCED here due to the Potato famine...and didn't come here looking for a handout...and then DEMANDING and EXPECTING things such as Globecast TV for FREE....they worked and took whatever was available to them, and accepted it gladly!

You have never been to Canada. Canada is a bilingual country. I live in Canada (born and raised) and people are truly free here.
We celebrate diversity, we don't encourage people to conform to what we say is normal. People are allowed to believe and practice their beliefs without society judging them and mouthing off about them. Religion, same-sex marriage to name a couple... sure we argue and have opinions on political matters, but rarely do you see people thinking less of a person for doing or believing something in a certain way. That is freedom.

Look with Canada being a socialist country it is a haven for immigrants no matter how you look at it. Yes most are probably here to earn a paycheck however there are also a significant number milking the socialist system where people would rather go on welfare than work at minimum wage or do a job that is beneath them. Some people celebrate this type of behaviour, these are the same folks who have this sense of entitlement. I was born and raised in Canada and my parents were immigrants as well however the one big difference is that when they came here they were not looking for handouts from the government but rather worked multiple jobs instead. Its a shame that the government and so called 'special interest' groups have made it too easy for people to simply take handouts from the country instead.
