Hello Forum, If someone can give a detail explanation on exactly what LNB and LNB set up I need, I will really appreciate it!!
As reference of LK post that was posted on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 I try to get Nimig at 91W. I have Extra 36" DTV Oval Dish (Direct T* World Direct / DIRECT* International Antenna) this dish has two LNBs, but I'm connected only one LNB: Eagle Oval shape Lnb, 95 KU Feed Horn Assembly with P170KU + Single output LNB with one connector to my FTA VS PVR7000 without any switch, directly to receiver.
This (Eagle Oval shape Lnb, 95 KU Feed Horn Assembly with P170KU + Single output LNB with one connector) have Output Freq = 950-1450 MHZ, I/P Freq = 11.7 -12.2 GHZ
I'm pointing Dish to 91w as: Elevation: 35.3 Azimuth: 135.1 Lnb (Skew): -33.9.7 I'm pointing Dish to 91w with help of birdog. I made also two times Lnb set up and two time Blind scan. First one Lnb power: on Lnb type: standard Lnb freq: 10750 22Khz on or off
Signal = 67-73%, Quality 60-70% Second one: Lnb power: on Lnb type: universal Lnb freq: 10600 22Khz on or off
Signal = 67-73%, Quality 60-70%
First one: got me 132 channel's, Second one: got me 324 channel's
But all channel's (International) on the TP: 4180 29780 V 7/8 in the both First and Second cases of Blind scan fail to lock. Pls, could you clear?
1.Can I use these LNB (Eagle Oval shape Lnb, 95 KU Feed Horn Assembly with P170KU + Single output LNB with one connector) & Dish to point Nimig at 91W or I need different LNB? Which one? 2.May be my Lnb set up are wrong?
thanks Tom for respond. But today I try to many time Blind scan or channel scan and Lnb freq 11250 doesn't work. When Lnb 11250 (standard or universal), Signal = 0%, Quality =0% only when i set Lnb as: Lnb power: on Lnb type: universal Lnb high freq: 10600 Lnb low freq: 5160 or 9760 and first time made Blind and second time made channel scan in the both cases I had around 200 channels on Nimig1,3 at 91W. But all channel's (International) on the TP: 4180 29780 V 7/8 in the both First and Second cases of scan fail to lock What lnb you use(detail,pls)? And check,PLS, do you have International and with one? Thanks so mush in advance
95W LNBS that DTV currently uses are actually European DSS meaning they are not compatible with BEV and DN
Standard North American LNBS should work on 12GHz to 12.75 GHZ of frequencies. 95W DTV has max freq of 12.1GHZ good enough for 2 or 3 transponders at the most. Its low freq of 11.4 GHZ totally usless except for their broadcast.
Also their 110 LNBs got similar issues.
Solution standard Twin LNB can get yo 82/91 Change LNBs
