I am interested in purchasing a 30" widescreen HD-Ready television and I have been comparing the differences between Philips and Samsung. In regards to reliability and quality, which of the two brand is a better choice? Thanks for your help.

I don't know the differences, but the picture quality on my Samsung 30 inch TXN3075WHF HDTV is incredible. I compared many at Circuit city, and this TV's picture quality was only bested by very expensive Sony Plazma TV's. You need to customize the picture color, sharpness etc. when you first get it home because the preset colors etc. are overdone. The sound quality from the TV's speakers arent fantastic, but if you have a home theater speaker set up it won't matter. A fantastic TV for the price!
