major networks are at 8490 - 8493, most of the locals are spotbeamed to that area, if you are in the footprint of the spotbeam scan E* 8 and see what you get
you should get channels 8490,8491,8492,8493 regargless of where you live as these are on a conus signal (continental US)the other locals channels 8494 thru 8505 are available only to people in that region(spotbeam)
Do U live in/near Chicago...thats whatt "spotbeamed" means...only to that local area...are U sure U know what "locals" really mean with satellite TV?
here's all the Chicago "locals'...all spotbeamed on the 110 sat (echo 8.10) ...but there are somer Chicago channels available from the entire US....think U need to READ..
