The TV was made in 2004, but was bought 2 years ago by someone who had it advertised for sale. It has an extended warranty that is in effect until 2010. I just noticed on the screen's right hand bottom side there is a triangular, blue/lavender hue that is noticeable, especially when the TV is displaying light colors like white, light grays, etc. I paused a DVD on a snow scene to see the shape. It's definitely not the DVD - the hue stays in the very same area even as the picture moves. Any ideas? Is it the lamp? Thanks in advance. |
