Ok, I have a dual LNB setup on a 20" dish and I currently am only running on 119. I can find 110 by itself seperately, but when i try to aim and skew the dish to find both with the sw21 switch i can only find one or the other. what is the trick to finding both birds?
what lnb do u have? Does ur settings look like this? Step-1 119 LNB Power 18v LNB type (MATCH YOUR LNB TYPE) <<<<< LNB freq 11250 22khz off DiSEqC =PORT-1 <<<<< SW =SW21 <<<<< Do Chan Scan sat (F1)
Step-2 110 LNB Power 18v LNB type (MATCH YOUR LNB TYPE) <<<<< LNB freq 11250 22khz off DiSEqC =PORT-2 <<<<< SW =SW21 <<<<< Do Chan Scan Sat (F1)
A Dual LNB (1 "eye") ONLY can receive 1 sat signal...but has 2 outputs for 2 receivers..
A Twin LNB (2 round white 'eyes" plastic covers) receives 2 different sat signals and has 2 outputs for 2 receivers...it also has an internal switch, so no need for an external switch unless adding a 2nd dish....and Legacy ( (NOT Dish Pro-DP) Twin LNB's are NOT FTA friendly except with limited certain receivers..DP Twins are FTA friendly..
homes, obviousely you are a nubie, legacy twin lnb will work on any fta receiver you need to do a little more reading, select legacy twin that should do it
