Hello People,

Thank you for your insight on the Polarity issue on https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-video/338225.html

I am wondering what is better. Please suggest one of the two mentioned setups:

1) SETUP 1

2 Dual LNBFs connected to 2 Independent DiSeqcs to 2 Receivers

For the first receiver:

119 LNB --- Diseqc #1 (Port 1)
110 LNB --- Diseqc #1 (Port 2)

Diseqc #1 --- Receiver #1

For the second receiver:

119 LNB --- Diseqc #2 (Port 1)
110 LNB --- Diseqc #2 (Port 2)

Diseqc #2 --- Receiver #2

OR

2) SETUP 2

2 Dual LNBfs connected to Multi-switch/ DiSeqc to 2 Receivers

I hear a lot on Multiswitches and the wonders it does -- then why even bother going for a Dual LNBF setup ?

Moreover, in the Setup Option 1 Above with 2 LNBFs - 2 DiSeqcs - 2 Receivers, What is the Role of a 22Khz Switch. I dont really know whether that is mandatory or what exactly it does. I do know that it cuts "noise" but, nothing other than that.

Thanks for all the support guys.

How about OPTION #3....use a Dish Pro TWIN LNB (interior built in switch) and run each cable directly to each receiver....otherwise use Option #1, and always buy s couple spare disque switches ($5 each) and keep them weatherproofed in tupperware, attic or basement..

BTW,,..in option #1..

119 LNB
left port to disque 1, port #1 to receiver #1
right port to disque #2, port #1 to receiver #2

110 LNB...same as above ,except use port #2 on each disque
