Quantum 3000 is reprotedly a Pansat 2300 clone. You could try 1668 or 1010, but you may have great difficulty in using it.

LK: If you have the right password post it here, otherwise get off this thread. The universal pasword of 9949 for GALAXIS is as posted by McSunny in this forum.

Noor Mohamed: A whole list of master passwords wer posted here by McSunny on this forum. I picked the one for Galaxis from this list and gave it to you. If it does not work, you have another problem, such as an old BIN, that needs updating.

Mike:
C/P from Dsstester site - late 2006.

"The Quantum receivers are clones of each pansat series. You must use the correct bin and preferrably a clone bin, but I know that some regular pansat bins work too. The problem is that it is possible that you can blow out your receiver if the bin is not compatible with the Quantum. Anyway, the 3000 is a clone for the 2300a pansat, the Quantum 3500, which is what I have is a clone for the pansat 2500a, and the Quantum 4000 is a clone for the pansat 2700a."

The Pansat 2300a is almost a defunct receiver and I do not know of a valid clonesafe BIN modified from Pansat 2300a BIN. So if you install a Pansat 2300a BIN, it may not work and may make your receiver defunct.
You could look at one of the following sites for more information, and ignore LK - he is whacko and a pest.
