About a month ago I started having problems with the High Def channels. I have Charter Cable. After watching the HD channels for 45 minutes, the sound starts going out, followed by tiling on the screen and then loss of signal. All other channels are fine, just the HD channels go out. After turning off the TV for about an hour the channels work again for about 45 minutes. I have had Charter out and claim the signal is strong. The cable card has also been changed. Could it be that the TV gets hot and drops the channels? Then when cooled off channels appear. I am ready to call LG for help as Charter doesn't think the problem is theirs. Any ideas? |

You are having problems with the HD channels a full five months after you got the LG. I think it highly unlikely the TV has gone south in this respect, especially since there's no other new issues with the TV. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CableCARD#Issues_with_CableCARDs https://www.ecoustics.com/cgi-bin/bbs/show.pl?tpc=2&post=999742#POST999742 https://www.ecoustics.com/cgi-bin/bbs/show.pl?tpc=2&post=517637#POST517637 https://www.ecoustics.com/cgi-bin/bbs/show.pl?tpc=2&post=328588#POST328588 |
