FTA question 101 and 97

Bronze Member Username: AntiscumsMillburn, NJ Post Number: 40 Registered: Dec-06 | i have 1-30" round dish 2 linear LNBs with (2 sat) bracket traxis 4550 receiver i'm trying to get 101 and 97 the problem is i can get 101 no problem i can get 97 no problem i can't seem to lock both signals it is not diseqc, it is not my setup i'm begining to wonder if i need bigger than 30" dish LK YOU BETTER GET OFF MY THREAD you don't know shite about fta even if you do i don't need your help |

Silver Member Username: HardrockstrikerPost Number: 787 Registered: Apr-06 | John, if you can get 101 and 97 separately (I'm assuming you're bypassing the switch to get each separately) without a problem, then it can't be the size of the dish. Maybe your switch is faulty? Aiming to get the two sats shouldn't be a problem because they are only off by 4 degress. |

Satellite 101  36 inch dish good for two FSS satelites (102)  |

Each transponder on DIFFERENT FREQUENCY (93 and 97 FSS) is like (97 and 101 FSS) both got 4 degrees apart Skew, trees, buildings can obstruct signal strength and focal reflection from dish FSS polarities require cleaver skewing - Start with basics to pin point problem - Very difficult to assume problem without first hand tests - My best guess you are overlapping LNBs or wrong skew |
