Just a quick question for some of you old timers out there. The Primestar lnb, what was it exactly. What type of LNB? I have one that is picking up some odd channels, trying to determine the sat I am getting. This is FTA. If you know the type of LNB, I would appreciate knowing, thanks.

I guess I am reaching too far back. I'll try to find out somewhere on the net. With all the Primestar dishes still out there, working lnbs you can use might be nice. Just need to know if circular or not. If I find out, I will post.

Look at s/n on the LNB is it an old PrimeStar, NJR2162F ...
The LNB's that come with PrimeStar dishes were all the same type of LNB with separate H and V output, with the exception of the NJR2162F, which was a .9db ...Primestar is a linear lnb and can get the linear satellites.Primestar merged with dave about 7-8 yrs back If it an 18" dish with a single lnb? You should be able to hit 1 bird with it.

hope this helps
