I just purchased a viewsat ultra and set it up last night. I using the dish pro with twin pro lnb. Usually my signal is around 85 and my quality around 90. But I noticed that when it is going thru the blind scan that on some transponders the signal and quality are zero so it does not pick up the channels that are on them. Does this mean the LNB is bad and not working properly? I had the same problem when i had my pansat 2500 hooked up too. I'm a newbie with the viewsat...go easy on me. thanks for the help.
Are you hooked into ALL of the satellites that you need for your (I'm assuming) DN package? Also, when doing your blind scan are you scanning on both horizontal and vertical polarities?
im sorry i dont know why i said antanae o know it's wrong spelling but what can i do im from canada i was thinking about antario that's why i said antanea
last week i had 29 ppv and all my local channels, and 10 adult channels I scanned both polarities on the blind scan.I am scanning 119 and 110. What happened to all the channels. Where did they go. Is their a way to get those missing channels back. Also on the viewsat ultra what is the setting for the lnb type if you have a DN twin pro lnb. On the pansat it had a setting for dishpro but the viewsat does not..thanks
Mike You don't have to do blind scan - Do factory default - Do F1 to each Sat seperately - Don't do F2
I have been always saying D*N is up to something with those extra transponders PTA users don't see it yet. I do think that is why they are extremely quite at the moment.
Well i checked the mast when i got home and it level. Hey King when you not not to do a blind scan just F1 the SATS. What does that mean cause i don't remember an option for F1 on the menu. so now that it is level and pointing in the right direction. What else could it be? Just for curiousity, what happens if the lnb is bad? What will it cause? Thanks for the help guys....
You know who I am talking about, Dish Network. One question King, you said that, you think they are extremely quite at the moment? What are they quite about?
