DP34 switch + Superdish. I have dish receiver connected to Reciever[1] porton the switch and Pansat3500SD connected to Receiver[2] port on switch.
This is what I see in my dish receiver: 1 DP Feed 119 Even,Odd 2 DP-Dual-1 110 Even,Odd 3 DP-Feed 121 Even,Odd
My dish installer verified that the signal strength is good looking at the dish receiver and I am currently receiving programming from Dish network on this receiver.
Here is my Pansat Anteena Setup configuration: Echo-110 LNB Type: Standard LNB Local Freq: 11250 22Hz: OFF Diseqc: #2 Legacy SW: None Skew: 0 TP: [19] Positioner setting: Disable Satellite Scan : ALL
Echo-119 LNB Type: Standard LNB Local Freq: 11250 22Hz: OFF Diseqc: #1 Legacy SW: None Skew: 0 TP: [1] Positioner setting: Disable Satellite Scan : ALL
Problems: 1. On each satellite, I go in and change the TP to increase level. I can find TPs that are giving more level. However when I press OK, this TP does not get locked and when I press EXIT, it goes back to default(the one listed above). This happens for all satellites.
2. No matter what TP I choose for all 3 satellites, I am not able to get level more than ZERO...So no programming on channel lookup.
Any idea what could be wrong. I think the dish position is o.k because the signal strenght as shown by my dish receiver is o.k and also I am getting dish network programming on the dish receiver connected to my second TV set.
I tried doing the following things with no luck: 1. Swapped ports on switch between dish and pansat receiver. No change. 2. Changed LNB types to dishpro, no use.
Any insights or tips appreciated....Thanks for reading....
disconnect switch and run cable directly from LNB to Pansat, then do scan and then ensure U are in fact receiving those sat channels...do this which each LNB, while shutting off the other LNB's in settings...now u will have a good scan of each...next reconnect the swich and see if all is well...if NOT, then u have a switch problem or bad connections
LK - Thanks for the reply. But as I said before, I have my dish receiver connected to the same switch on port 1, pansat is on port 2. (I tried swapping them too) and the dish receiver shows signal strength from all 3 satellites and I am able to receive dish programming. Does this still mean a problem and the procedure you described above help ??
My SuperDish set up is (with 2 dish rec and 2 fta on the switch): * 110 = port #1 * 119 = port #2 * 121 = port #3 Does not matter which output connection goes to which receiver.
