If a person can read English or Spanish, there is no need for them to know a dam thing about FTA Satellite TV. Just come here ,read the posted questions and answers, plus the user manual that came with you receiver. Then maybe you will learn something like I did. plus you will learn about lot of other things & have fun, if you stick around. Saying all this, have a nice day. |

I have a C****at 5000 and know how and where to enter the new keys, but am confused about the "key number". I see some posts that have the numbers 96 or 86 before the keys, and then I see others that have 00 or 01 or 10 or 11 before the keys. Does this number make a difference as to what is there? Is it different on each receiver? |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 8903 Registered: Jan-06 | all keys get entered at the same place...U just change the provider #... forget 0905 and 0906 until U know what u are doing ...they really aren't needed for U now..only needed for a few channels...concentrate on 0101(DN) and 0901(bev)...and yes key 00= 86 and 01= 96.. |
