Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 8644 Registered: Jan-06 | well the Sox spanked the Yankees and won the WS (2004), so I guess if the Sox suck, then the Yankees must really suck and blow, even though George S buys all his players and teams.. and the "curse", well heres your curse! With their St Louis Series sweep, Boston had finally broken the "Curse of the Bambino". To make the championship sweeter, it came on the heels of the largest comeback in postseason MLB history (a 0-3 deficit against the archrival New York Yankees in the AL Championship Series)......hehehe ![]() ![]() |
Bronze Member Username: IamdrummingPost Number: 15 Registered: Aug-06 | Yankees must really suck and blow? As I said, how many World Championships do the Red Sox have? 6, that's right 6. The Yankees have 26 World Championships, 20 more than you. When the Red Sux have at least 10 World Series championships, then you can start bragging. To blame the Red Sox sucking for 86 years on a so-called "curse", that's just trying to blame something else for all those years. Face it, they just sucked for 86 years. There is, and was no "curse". As for George Steinbrenner "buying" all his players. In 2006, The Boston Red Sox had the highest payroll of any team in Major League history to not make the playoffs. Go Yankees Go!! |
Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 8650 Registered: Jan-06 | Jeter and Arod are Mo's,...LMAO Manny and Ortiz are the real men! The Red Sox Nation rules! |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 8655 Registered: Jan-06 | Now there's a smart man!...Sox pitching is OUTSTANDING!...Dice K, Schilling, Wakefield, Timlin, Beckett, Tavarez, Clement, Papelbon, are quite the show!... and with JD Drew, Manny, Will Pena, Youkilis, Varitek, Lowell, and Big Papi's (Ortiz) big bats, U can count on a lot of runs... and with a guy named Cocoa Crisp in the outfield, how can U lose!...LOL Boston 3 3 .500 0.5 NY Yankees 2 3 .400 1.0 here we go Red Sox, here we go!!! ![]() |
Silver Member Username: RtapFL Post Number: 155 Registered: Jan-07 | i agree boston has always been a tough team. LK what do you think about the Marlins they did surprise everybody in 2003 |
Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 8663 Registered: Jan-06 | I live in Florida (South) and baseball is NOT big here on the college or pro level...I feel bad for any player who gets stuck on ANY Florida team...U know in Florida, there is ONLY 1 sport, FOOTBALL!...if ANY Florida baseball team EVER does well, its a miracle! |

Silver Member Username: RtapFL Post Number: 161 Registered: Jan-07 | how are the Hawaiian women trim or bushy |
Gold Member Username: Hawaiian_timeKanaka freak... Post Number: 1019 Registered: Apr-06 | That's right LK. Honolulu is overcrowded. And every year more and more people are coming here. The population will continue to grow until every square inch of Oahu has a building on it. And Maui is beginning to get that way also. It's sad. |
Gold Member Username: Hawaiian_timeKanaka freak... Post Number: 1020 Registered: Apr-06 | The women are trimmed very nicely. Mostly airstrip. |
Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 8676 Registered: Jan-06 | I bet!..short field landing airstrips!...but can take on a C5...can't have too much "growth" around them airstrips...its too HOT, don't want to have "bush" fires!... LMAO RT...I coached basketball and baseball up North, not here in Florida.. |
Gold Member Username: Hawaiian_timeKanaka freak... Post Number: 1021 Registered: Apr-06 | Lots of volunteer firemen here to handle those bush fires! To join you just need a hose. |
Bronze Member Username: Zork_99GTA Post Number: 32 Registered: Jul-06 | Sorry my American friends...It's time for the Championship banner to fly north of the border again. The Blue Jays have loosened up the purse strings and will contend/win :-). |

Bronze Member Username: SubzerocdnPost Number: 47 Registered: Aug-06 | what do you mean never see a world series? what about 92-93 back 2 back world series champs, which would of been a three-peat if it wasn't for the strike. jays born in 1977 and 2 world championships..not bad Seattle was born the same year...they have not done much. |
Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 8680 Registered: Jan-06 | funny Hawaiian!....LMAO BTW...is that black crow on the kid's face now?...was this pic taken after the Red Sox made the biggest comeback in history , beating the Yanks in 2004 in the AL championship?....LMAO |
Bronze Member Username: Zork_99GTA Post Number: 33 Registered: Jul-06 | RTAP, the American League is tough with too many good teams especially in the east...but the Jays can overcome...this ain't the National league where a team always "Backs in" to the World Series by coasting through the regular season playing a bunch of weak teams(like the Marlins have done). |
Bronze Member Username: Zork_99GTA Post Number: 35 Registered: Jul-06 | And while we're on the topic of sports...Get ready...the Raptors are on the prowl looking for their first NBA Championship :-). |
Bronze Member Username: Zork_99GTA Post Number: 36 Registered: Jul-06 | Quentin, good point about the 3peat during the strike year...that year would have also yielded the All Canadian World Series as the Expos were one of the best teams in the National League in '94...That would have been fun. |
Gold Member Username: Hawaiian_timeKanaka freak... Post Number: 1024 Registered: Apr-06 | lol..I had to black out the red on the kids face. Seems he was embarrassed of being a Sox fan! Now he's on the right side! In fact, that pic was taken when big papi was coming up to bat. |

Gold Member Username: Hawaiian_timeKanaka freak... Post Number: 1025 Registered: Apr-06 | RTAP, what do you mean the Jays will never see the World Series? Canada should have it televised on one of the major networks! ![]() |
Silver Member Username: EdenmanPost Number: 348 Registered: Aug-06 | Go Jays! |
Silver Member Username: Eatfish111Post Number: 228 Registered: Dec-06 | I have been a lifelong jays fan so I will say the jays. But feel the NY Mets will take the world series this year. |
Silver Member Username: RtapFL Post Number: 164 Registered: Jan-07 | zork 99 if you think the national league is weak your wrong.for example the yankess buy their division as well as almost every other american team.its sad but true.but was even more sad is when a low budget team like the marlins go to a world series and on the yankess turf take the crown.dont forget the Braves,Phillies are other teams that shine every year. |
Silver Member Username: Thunder_lightningPost Number: 200 Registered: Feb-07 | .......The Minnesota Twins all the way..LOL....... |

Bronze Member Username: Zork_99GTA Post Number: 37 Registered: Jul-06 | RTAP you're right about the Yankees buying their way...For any American League team to make it to the Series...the road goes thru that 200 million dollar Yankee payroll :-( that's why it's so tough.. As for the Braves...since the NL is so weak they win by default..how many NL crowns do they have? I have lost count...but only one Series win in all those years for the Braves as they were usually no match for the AL Series opponents. |
