With their St Louis Series sweep, Boston had finally broken the "Curse of the Bambino". To make the championship sweeter, it came on the heels of the largest comeback in postseason MLB history (a 0-3 deficit against the archrival New York Yankees in the AL Championship Series)......hehehe   |

The Yankees have 26 World Championships, 20 more than you. When the Red Sux have at least 10 World Series championships, then you can start bragging. To blame the Red Sox sucking for 86 years on a so-called "curse", that's just trying to blame something else for all those years. Face it, they just sucked for 86 years. There is, and was no "curse". As for George Steinbrenner "buying" all his players. In 2006, The Boston Red Sox had the highest payroll of any team in Major League history to not make the playoffs. Go Yankees Go!! |

As for the Braves...since the NL is so weak they win by default..how many NL crowns do they have? I have lost count...but only one Series win in all those years for the Braves as they were usually no match for the AL Series opponents. |
