Pansat 2700a b-75 help on fix

New member Username: Kilo_killerPost Number: 1 Registered: Apr-07 | i just got the pansat 2700a and was trying to update it but it doesnt turn on anymore and it just flashes b-75 and the flash wont accept any other boot or any kind of file. I tried unplugging it but it still wont work. Can anybody please help with this problem |

Post Number: 1635 Registered: Nov-06 | B75 Upgrade Complete Instructions -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've added the extra files that many of you were asking for to upgrade your STB with b75 Boot File. Caution: Please be advised B75 Boot File MUST BE installed before loading latest Bin b75_200 and there after. Use GTROM Loader v27.02 to flash Bin 200 and all subsequent Bl Bins Use GTRom Loader v27.02 to flash Factory Bin 120 and all subsequent Factory Bins If flash process ends in Night Ryder Lights, flash a Bl Bin released prior to March 10th. The Zip Files contain the following required to upgrade STB with b75 Boot File Pansat 2700 Factory Bin 115 (Not b75) Factory 116 is fine too. GTRom Loader v27.02 released by Pansat USA Pansat 2700 b75 Boot File Bl Bin b75_200 Pansat 2700 Factory Bin b75_120 Pansat 2700 b75 Boot Upgrade Instructions Procedure for upgrading 2700 to b-75 Boot File 1. Flash receiver with Factory Bin 115 using Loader 27.01 2. Do a Factory Setting in menu and reapply your parameters under Antenna Setup. 3. Flash b-75 Boot File using GTRom Loader 27.02 4. Flash latest Bl Bin b75_200 using Loader 27.02 Additional notes on how to Flash Boot File 1. Start up new GTRom loader v27.02 2. Select the file 2700A(b75)_(07)0310.bin (BOOT FILE ONLY) 3. Power the receiver ON from rear and start the download. The front display will show B75 moving across if successful when finished. 4. Open the file X87_BL_070311_B75_200_API.bin and select API file on the loader. The STB should say B75 and then switch to "ON" when completed. Note: If after flashing Bl Bin 200, the STB starts acting weird (Rebooting), flash Factory Bin 120 (b75). Big thanks to 4q2 for casting the mold at al7. |

When i put the boot file in all i get is night rider lights and the instructions says it is supposed to read b-7-5 across the screen i am not getting . How do you know if the boot file went in ?????? |

I know my problem is the boot file is not taking because the instuctions says it will say b-7-5 and i am not getting that but i don't know what to do tofix it |

Click Select File and open Boot_2700A (b75) _ (07)0310 new boot file. <--(Included in a Zip File) 4. Turn the receiver power ON and click Write File and wait until Download Completed OK will appear. 5. Front LED will display moving b-7-5 left to right if upgraded succeeded. 6. Open new api bin file matching with b75 boot version, <--(Included in a Zip File) (Any api version dated on or after Mar 10, 2007 and click Write File. Wait until Download Completed OK appears. Front LED will display b-7-5 and channel number will appear shortly. If your receiver is in Factory Default Condition, front LED will appear ON shortly. 8. 2700A/E (IR) all models can be applied. =NOTE(S) ================================================== =================== 1. Evidently when i first downloaded b75 boot file i must have clicked on 201 file instead . I went to pansat usa and read when you get night lites you have to go and download a file that was before dec 17 06 so i did and it bought it back and then i downloaded b75 and made sure i had the right files in and now i am scanning . Thanks for all of the help maybe some day i can help someone |

B) You will need to add EchoStar 5 @129.oW to your Receiver, and all the TPs. Pull up (Edit TP/Satellite) Select "NEW" located at the bottom of Satellite name list. |

Then go to Second Pin and enter all zeros. (0000) 4. Now scroll down to Nagravision 2 and hit "OK" 5. On Provider ID, select the Provider you need, Dish Net, or Bev. 6. Move down to Key Number. Depending on what key you need to enter, you will change the key number by using the left or right arrows only. Key 86 is the same as Key Number 00, and Key 96 is the same as Key Number 01. 7. At the bottom of the page it will tell you which buttons to use to get the appropriate letters for your keys. 8. Once you have changed the necessary keys, hit the "OK" button and make sure that the "OK Store" words blink at the bottom right corner. 9. Exit all the way out of your Menu, and change channel. 10. Watch TV. |
