Hi Guys, I just got myself a new ultra and I am using dish 500 with 2 dish pro dual LNB to diseqc switch. I have a question on the setup, when I scan in the channel on 110 and 119. I only get 112 channels on 110 and 154 channels on 119. What is the problem? Would it be my setting on the menu? Here is my setting:
110 lnb power-on lnb type-standard lnb freq-11250 22khz-off tp freq-12224 search option-all diseqc 1.0- port 2 motor-off legacy sw-none please help me with what I did wrong. Thanks! I have been looking on the sticky but not able to find the setup on it.
It does not have a setting that specifically says "dishpro," you have to set it to "OCS-DP."
And scan each sat. one by one, don't do them both at the same time, and make sure you don't do a "Blind Scan" you have to select each one one by one in the "Auto Scan" by putting a check mark next to the sat you are scanning. Make sure when you are scanning 119 the power to 110 is off and port set to none. When you scan 110 make sure the power to 119 is off and port set to none. Then go back and set it to the settings you posted above. Then just exit and save. You should be good after that.
