I am posting again in hopes someone will respond. On my Samsung HLN437W after about an hour I start getting random white flashes on the screen. The picture is normal except for the random flashing going on. Before the flashing starts it is perfect.
I have read several post here and some have mentioned this happening, but there is no one response as to what fixed it. Someone said they blew it out and that helped for awhile, but then it started again. Someone else mentioned the light engine. Is the color wheel causing the problem? Can someone please tell me exactly what is causing the problem if it's not the color wheel? I have already called Samsung. Yes I was nice and I got to speak with ECR. I was told it was to far out of warrenty. I've had it a little over 3 years. I was told no matter what the problem is I am responsible for fixing it. I really don't want to spend a $100 to get it diagnosed just to find out it will cost $800 or more to repair.
