Post Number: 996 Registered: Sep-06 | On the heels of Lewis "Scooter" Libby's guilty verdict, the conservative Republicans are on a media blitz 2 muddy the argument and spin the damage. Let's sit back and watch the character assassination of Joe Wilson, and the Clinton administration. The Republican's answer 2 any wrongdoings is to blame Clinton. Joe Scarborough, displeased by the verdict, will go on his tirade against the Clintons and Joe Wilson tonight on MSNBC at 9:00pm . Rush Limbaugh is already on fire, and Anne Coulter is demanding to be unleashed. The Republican Party has told Coulter 2 cool it since her latest gaff: last week calling Democrat and Presidential hopeful, John Edwards a "f@g". It's always the same story - blame the evil Clintons, muddy the facts, hope for a tie in an argument, and that is how the Republicans conduct damage control. Criticizing the Bush administration is en vogue nowadays. Even the Republicans do it 2 set themselves apart from the Bush cronies. But they have missed completely what the people are saying. Joe Scarborough and other conservatives, continue to criticize the way the war was conducted, but refuse to admit that the case for war was created out of conveniently selected data and lies. And that it was a blatant disregard for law, and actually outright agression. There are few traditional conservatives who have opposed the war, and much of the Bush agenda still around. Pat Buchanan, expected 2 appear on Scarborough Country tonight, has long criticized the war and the far right Bush doctrine. |

That and admit that she was once a man. I'm sure the Reps will be spinning this to high heaven. Either that of Fox will sweep it under the rug after a day or two. |

Flip the table and have this being a Democratic Party snafu and get just a whiff of "presidential pardon' in the media and they'd storm the white house. Bunch of old money 'rasps' (they censored 'f@rts'). |

Ann Coulter fired back at critics who demanded the conservative columnist apologize for comments she made during a speech in which she referred to Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards as a "fa66ot." "'Fa66ot isn't offensive to g&ys; it has nothing to do with gays," Coulter said on "Hannity and Colmes" Monday night. "It's a schoolyard taunt meaning 'wuss,' and unless you're telling me that John Edwards is g&y, it was not applied to a g&y person." So let me get this right, 'fa66ot' isn't offensive to g&ys? I guess she'd know....since she used to be a man. Source : http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,256860,00.html |
