If the receiver is not coming on, you have pwer supply problems - perhaps your receiver got destroyed from a power surge, or it may bjust be a fuse problem.

Unfortunately Fortec Receivers do not have internal fuses. If the receiver is not coming on then the receivers power supply went out. It is not worth replacing this since these receivers are going for about $50.00 to $60.00 on ebay which is probably what it would cost to fix the power supply.

You may want to unplug the receiver from where it is right now and plug into different power outlet to see if it works...

PRFRMNJ: You seem to have acquired a habit of chasing me where-ever I post. You may have a Fortec, but it does not mean that all Fortec Ultras are the same. So do read this up and know that there is an internal fuse at least in some Fortec Ultra receivers.
I suggest you stop trying to discredit me every time I post.

Nalin - I can care less where you post. I know for fact that the fortecs I've worked on have no internal fuse. I opened them when I did the resistor mod to convert them to a Pansat I've done this on at least 30 of these.

However, if you have information or knowlege that some of these units do have an internal fuse then post it. As a matter of fact why don't you take a picture of it and show everyone rather then trying to pick a fight with me you.

This is a Lifetime Ultra!

Maybe you should get off your high horse and learn before you decide to argue what you don't know.

Here is what YOU claim is a Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra! By the way Fotec Star is just the company who produces this. Really you need to learn before you decide to try to hang with the big boys!
