This is Blacklists's original Pansat Jtagless fix..
Instraction fixing your Pansat2300A and 2500A.
1) Open Blacklist Stb Updater 1.3a 2) Browse orginal bin. can be found from here //www.pansatusa.com// 3) Connect from PC to REC with DB9 straight cable. 4) Keep your receiver off. DON NOT TURN THE RECEIVER ON FROM THE BACK SWICH. 5) Press Send button on BLACKLIST STB UPDATER 1.3a 5) Then turn your receiver on from the back swich with in 5 secound. 6) Wait untill download complited. DON NOT TOUCH ANYTHING UNTILL YOU SEE MESSAGE (Complited) 7) DO NOT LET THE RECEIVER TO RESTART BY IT SELF. 8) After you see message complited, Swich off back button on the back of the receiver right away. 9) Wait for 10 Secound and turn your receiver on again. 10) Enjoy Your Tv Back.
LK - I read that, but not sure I understand why he would call this a Jtagless fix. You don't need to JTag a receiver with Night Rider Lights! All you really do is reflash the receiver using the "Hard Boot" method. Actually, that just a slight modified version of that proceedure! LOL. I think that name is going to confuse a lot of people who actually need to JTag their dead receivers.
U know Blacklist, he is not real savy with English but is with marketing..."Jtagless fix" sounds like a real technical term for a basic simple procedure...Not sure if the term was intentional as a impressive term or a lack of better English words..and actually Jtagless fix can apply to anything such as inputting keys, a hard reboot, resetting antenna receiver settings or anything OTHER than a Jtag that fixes your receiver problem..so therefore "Jtagless fix" term, to me is a useless term and could mean "anything" as I first posted here....
