Post Number: 880 Registered: Sep-06 | I need an answer from someone who may know.....I have checked Wikipedia, and Corpopedia (sp) and a few other sites. Does Chrysler own Mercedes, or the other way around? Everybody I talk 2 says other way around - Mercedes own Chryler. But that is not what any internet research has shown me - is it outdated? I know it seems hard 2 believe, but check out the link at this corpknowpedia: http://corpknowpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Mercedes-Benz These dang redneck argumentative buggers are clobbering me with some silly crap info, but there facts don't check out. I remember learning about this years ago, because i recall being disappointed that Chrysler was taking over Mercedes.... now i'm being told no. Help! My whole rebuttal rests on this info, does anybody have a link that contradicts the one above? Oh yeah, my Pansat 2700 is fine, so is my RitzDVB FTA PC Card, and thanks 2 all of u for all the help. |

Post Number: 883 Registered: Sep-06 | So far, i like what i'm hearing ... but the "merger" is a problem word... cause that could mean diff controlling interest. I think the argument they are providing is ridiculous anyway, i can't verify any of it. The argument they are making is that the German government owns Mercedes.... Mercedes owns a big share of America's war industries, and thus the German gov has an interest in American wars. I can't find any of that.... 2 verify it. And i don't buy it, it stinks of lies, and bs & is not consistent at all. The NYSE investors own Chrysler, therefore that whole argument of theirs is baseless and incorrect, i think. But i promised i'd double check this.....just curious what /where this info is coming from. |

I was just watching a report about Alberta pollution problems.... and how no politician wants 2 touch it because of big oil. I do sleep very good at night because, even if alone i can't achieve the standards i believe in, i'm doing my part 2 better it for everyone. Progress never meant over night - and i'm happy to be progressive, as opposed 2 conservative backwards. |

No, u are all arguing about how "Climate Change" is a regular occurrence. Funny how all conservatives stick together with the exact same talking points at the same time. Bush mentions "Climate Change" in his State of the Union address, and everybody falls into line behind him. It's interesting 2 watch propaganda take it's course, and how many people get swallowed up by it. Marketing is powerful, and unless u enlighten urself, and rid urself of the thought-control that u fell under, u will never be able 2 think for urself. How many attend these silly propaganda meetings of yours...lol BTW, cold temperatures, and blizzards, an increase in hurricanes at odd times, wacky weather everywhere in general, are all part of the "Global Warming" crisis. Even extreme cold, so ur silly point about enjoying warmer temps might backfire. U live in Alberta - if it's always cold there, it may be harder for u 2 notice the changes because extreme cold is normal for u, & warmer temperatures are welcomed - and ur gov and media won't help u understand the global consequences either. It is in their interest that u continue 2 think like u do. But i know that eventually, when ur types do wake up, u will blame the "government" and u will argue that government lied to u. U will then go with the party that proposes less government, and u will vote the Conservatives back in. The circle of ignorance and stupidity is endless, as history has shown. Bill, luckily u have exposure 2 someone who's telling u 2 think from a different perspective, and one day u will use ur knowledge 2 rebut some other redneck's conservative arguments. The problem with conservatives is that they love to stop a conversation of truths, because it hurts. No conservative wants to argue logic and truth because it's un-winnable... so better not 2 bring it up. I stand with 97% of the world's environmental scientists who disagree with u and ur conservative friends. |
