Thanks for your response on Eagle Star.
I have posted the following message more than a week ago and no responded so far. I know you can.

My friend has Pansat 2700. Everytime he turns it on using his remote, a message appears EPG Loading press OK or exit. Is there any way to bypass this option? The reason is he wants to this is because he has his VCS connected with his receiver and usually he records his favorit programs by setting the time on both (receiver and VCR) Now when the receiver turns on automatically, all his VCR records is a screen with "EPG Loading ... Press OK or Exit".
Any help from you would be highly appreciated.

I keep my receiver on all the time with the output going through the VCR to the TV. The VCR is set all the time for input from receiver.
I then program my VCR for the time. Whatever channel you set on the receiver is the only one that can be recorded, i.e. you can't set the VCR for multiple timed recordings using this primitive method, unless all the recording are going to come from the same receiver channel or you manually change the receiver channel in between.
