I have subscribed to bellexpress.Beinbg a trucker I travel alot to U.S.A while being around southeren part of U.S.A. The signal strength is stays around 80% but, I won,t be be able to get all the subscribed channnel. I do get 75 percent channels. But missing many. Please advice me what I must do in order to get all the channels????
FTA stands for Free to Air. FTA satellite receivers were made to receive free satellite signals. But manufacturers of these units make it so that you can receive pay channels from Dish and Bev by flashing the unit with a program via a computer.
i think you nead to do some reading for that i have captive works 600p and cost me 110 can dish 45 dollars support for this box is great but most people think its viewsat both are good both got great support but there are all kinds of fta boxs out there ranging from 80 to 450 or more

There are alot of different things about the receivers. Don't go for Pansat clones or Fortecs because these two are dying out. I bought a Pansat 4 years ago for 60$ and it made it's money back times hundreds if not thousands. Good ones are Viewsats. I'm going to definetely invest in one. As to buying the receiver, it depends on where you look. I live in Montreal and know all the places here to get one. Just start a new thread looking for a FTA receiver and name your area, if anyone lives there, they will let you know. But after you buy these boxes, there are other things to consider that Bruce didn't get to mention. You have to then find the right bins for the boxes. These bins put a program into the box that allow you to watch the tv. Then, you have to point the dish to where you want it. 119, 110, and so on. Different numbers for different signals. First of all, you should read up on it. And make sure you have the time for it. I learned pretty quick myself considering my hubby was doing it for so long, I had to self teach myself since he was outta town and I was stuck running things here. There are alot of websites out there where you can do the reading. Hey There are a lot of High Definition Channels out there and Iam sure alot more to come. So I say why the rush. As for myself I will wait for the HD receivers to come down in price and how they perform.
im going to get the new cw3000 hd . and julie if you read the first post he got bev so he dos not need to play with his dish bell did it for him and bins are not hard to find nither are loaders and in my books cw is the best if you buy it new and it is cw600p bring it home put the new bin in bring back to tv scan sat hit the f1 ooo on remot patch will inable and you have tv all free

hello everybody, it is not about fta, pansat,viewsat. it is about using bev legally. We are holidays here in southeren california. Got my bev dish and receiver here. got perfect signal, but THREE out of FIVE channels are missing. CAN SOME ONE SUGGEST ME WHY? if I use larger dish or LNBF, will that help???

Let me help you understand mush-mind. If someone subscribes to veb and takes the receiver on HOLIDAY they can receive the signal anywhere inside the footprint legally.

ALL I just bought a new Viewsat 2000 ultra I have bee able to download the channels but they are all locked- currently using Bell Express vu Note: this is my first time using and FTA receiver. What do I do to enjoy my new tool. Step by step process will help
left receiver on went to eat, came back and BEV was rolling keys ( wait for picture), BUT my autoroll was OFF !! Then the receiver showed " O " on the display , turned off then on by itself. BEV was on again.!!!!!
