Their is no known way to use a FTA receiver to get diretv If you google or search around yes their are site were you can buy receivers from $100-1400 US that may or may not work. Most are scams so buyer beware As far as Dish VS Dirctv they are about the same in all reality...same HBO's same Locals mostly, same crappy compressed digital pic..dish has some programing the dirct does not and dirct has some that dish does not.......I heard yesterday Dirctv will have some nascar PPV stuff that dish will not have for example |

The Neosat Ipro2000 handles Videoguard, which as I understand it, is the equivelent of Mexican DTV, something that nobody has cracked before. Pretty exciting stuff for the FTA world.
