Thursday, January 25, 2007 - 14:07 GMT Jim } Maybe these channels have nothing on them. What channels are you looking for? Try to align your Dish to improve the quality signal. What Birds are you now on?

Thursday, January 25, 2007 - 14:52 GMT Jim - Not to repeat what Kevin just stated, but if they do indeed have channels on them, then your problem is antena alignment. There are a couple of ways to go about this. You can use the receiver itself to fine tune the alignment, but I find it easier when you use one of those cheap sat finders with the whistle and tone the sensitivity just low enough to where you can actually hear a difference as you ajust to maximize your alignment.

Thursday, January 25, 2007 - 16:32 GMT You may also need to check the leveling of the dish base plate, that could make you loose between 5 to 10% of your signal...
