My wife has been recording old movies from a new DTV DVR to a Magnavox DVD recorder (cheap, from Wal-Mart). Until two days ago this combination via RCA cables worked well. Yesterday evening she got a E-25 message:"You cannot record this program," with a number of different, mostly old, movies. Customer service almost implied that somebody is trying to thwart copying. This morning she tried to record the same movie and it is recording. Can anybody tell me what is going on? I agree with others: their new DVR is vastly inferior to the old Tivo. Jim.
